Seminars for Schools
During the last year or so, we have run a series of seminars throughout the UK aimed at helping teaching professionals to understand how they are affected by recent changes to the Teachers Pension Scheme.
The presentations, which normally last no longer than one hour, identify new and creative ways in which the Scheme can now be utilised to create improved retirement benefits for members, or facilitate more flexible working in the approach to retirement.
We discuss the replacement scheme for Added Years, important new opportunities for members of the Prudential AVC facility, and how working beyond age 60 can seriously damage life expectancy!
The presentation is relevant to all teachers, not just those approaching retirement, and include a question and answer session.
It is typically followed by individual meetings with staff some two to three weeks later during which we can discuss their individual circumstances. The cost of these meetings is normally met by the school as part of the service.
If you would like to arrange a seminar for your school, please contact Ann McDonald on 01296 394 675.
